Recycle used paper, reduce multiple forms and copies
Take your discarded print paper to a recycling center, or have a recycling company come and get it. Some companies charge a fee while others may actually pay you for your scrap paper. To encourage recycling, provide a box for discarded paper next to the copier and at every employee work station.

Multiple forms
Take a closer look at your company’s multiple forms. Do you really need each form in triplicate? Will one copy suffice? Save your company money by printing only what you need and save a few trees in the process.


Document copies
Determine internally who really needs a copy of every document. Do you really need to make a print-out for the entire department? Better yet, e-mail the document. Only those who need it can print it.
